
Initial Individual SessionA typical initial session lasts from 60-90 minutes and is designed to give clients an introduction to what sport psychology is and how it can help athletes/performers achieve their maximum potential. During this session, the individual's sport performance profile is assessed to help us determine what problem areas the athlete would like to address and to help me understand the various aspects of the athlete's competitive habits (for example, understanding any pre-performance routines the performer may have and getting a feel for the athlete's 'zone' of optimal functioning by discussing past performances).
