Team or Group Sport Psychology Training Presentations

The team/group presentations are designed to give athletes and performers an introduction to specific sport psychology skills and teach known tips and strategies for improving their performance. The presentations can be selected by topic to allow the coach/leader to determine which sport psychology skills would be most beneficial for the athletes on their team.

A sport psychology skills presentation is generally 45 minutes to 1 hour in length depending upon the level of participation from the group. The presentations are provided at the team or organization's offices, classrooms or performance domains, and can be done for sport teams, departments, organizations, and associations. With the team/group presentations, coaches/leaders have three options:

One Topic Presentation

This option allows the coaches/leaders to choose one presentation topic for their team. For example, a coach may choose to have one presentation for his/her team regarding how to avoid distractions and re-gain focus. Each presentation is approximately 1 hour in length.

Presentation Package

This option allows the coaches/leaders to choose three presentation topics completed over three separate team sessions. This package allows the coaches/leaders to choose the topics that will best address the needs of their specific teams. Each presentation is approximately 1 hour in length.

General Skills Presentation

This option allows the coaches/leaders to choose one general overview presentation that addresses the following three topics: Effective goal setting; How to build and maintain self-confidence; and How to achieve and maintain focus. Overview presentations are approximately 1.5 hours in length.
